It's not exactly "fancy", but it's quite drinkable and very convenient for a quick celebration (i.e. if you don't have the time, expertise, or money to get a good bottle).

I've found it hard to find a comparably good bottle in its price range (around $15).

And yes, it indeed calls itself "california champagne" on the label. Take that, France! :P

Description / Instructions / Review

This is pretty standard as a "commodity" champagne; it's not particularly full of character but it serves its purpose.

It's not oppressively sweet or bubbley (as many cheap champagnes are), and I've been happy with it as an accompaniment to party snacks.
