Ecco Domani Chianti (2005)a good table wine, quite smooth for a chiantismooth Tuscan chiantiEcco Domani is kind of a "niche" producer (as far as I know they only have 3 bottles widely available), and they are fairly image conscious (slick bottle design, and yuppy-targeted marketing.)
Nonethless, they make a good Chianti that I've found hard to beat in its price range (~10 dollars). [0 / 0 found this useful , viewed 409 times]

Description / Instructions / ReviewOverall a pleasant, smooth, and moderately sophisticated flavor. Many Chiantis in the same price range are significantly more acidic and coarse.
It's a good match for a wide variety of foods (i.e. the typical "red wine" foods), but you can try it with slightly less flavorful dishes as well (e.g. pastas with a light sauce). Of course, I usually just get it to drink by itself :P |
