Sage Tea

a relaxing stimulant-free herbal tea

Sometimes coffee just isn't the right thing. That's when tea becomes interesting.

Specifically, when it's 3am and I feel like I need something warm to drink, but am hoping that I'll be getting to sleep in the near future so don't want to take any chances with caffeine.

This one is particularly good with a splash of lemon.

Description / Instructions / Review

Sage tea is my "standard" herbal tea, although I have to say I haven't put much thought into it.

It's pretty common in Greece, and my mother seems to think that it's good for the digestive system, so I guess that's where I got stuck on it.

It's a very subtle flavor, so I tend to only drink it in isolation; for combination with late-night snacking, a bolder tea (say a darjeeling) is probably a better choice.
