Genesis Hogue Viogniersimple, smooth, sweet, and fruitycolumbia valley white wineI'll be honest ... I had no idea what a Viognier was when I bought this at the local Trader Joe's, but I've been pretty happy with it.

Description / Instructions / ReviewWhen I first uncorked the bottle, I was surprised by the strength of the aroma; it's immediately fruity and sweet, and this is born out in the wine's flavor as well.
There's a noticeable taste of light, sweet, fruit (the bottle claims apricots and peaches). I could almost taste the apricots, but the peaches didn't really come through. Nonetheless, it was very pleasing, and definitely worth a try. |
