Rear Admiral Joseph's Gina cheap, reasonable alternative gindry ginI'm always a bit skeptical of "budget" gins and vodkas, since it's the sort of thing that can easily be done poorly. The admiral, it seems, has managed to avoid that curse, and produces a pretty reasonable gin for its price range (about $7-10 a bottle).

Description / Instructions / ReviewSure, it's not Bombay Sapphire, but that's not surprising. It's plenty good to mix for a gin and tonic, and also not unpleasant on its own, although I think you'll find it a little coarser than pricier gins.
