Ingredients- 2 lb potatoes, cleaned and thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves crushed - 1 cup grated gouda cheese - ½ cup grated parmesan cheese - 1 small can evaporated milk - 150 ml thick cooking cream - pepper to taste - salt may not be needed because of the cheese Directions- mix potatoes, garlic, cheeses and pepper in baking pan (7x11 inch, about)
- pour over evaporated milk and then cream - sprinkle with pepper - cover pan with aluminum foil (tightly) - bake in preheated oven, at 425, for about 90 minutes, or until potatoes tender. - remove aluminum foil, move pan to a higher rack in the oven, and bake until top is golden brown - best if served warm |
