IngredientsGreen beans in red sauce
-1 lb frozen green beans - 1 tblspoon (heaped) tomato paste - 1 large onion, thinly sliced - 4 tblspoons olive oil - salt and black pepper to taste - warm water, enough to cover green beans in pot Directions- sauté onions, on high, for 2 minutes, stirring
- add frozen green beans and continue sautéing for another 5-7 minutes, stirring and tossing - add salt and pepper - add tomato paste diluted in water - bring to a boil, cover cooking pot, lower heat to medium and continue cooking until beans are tender and water has evaporated. |
