Ingredients- ½ lb potatoes, coarsely shredded
- 1 small onion, chopped - 1 tblspoon minced fennel - 1 egg beaten with - 1 teaspoon flour, and with - 1 teaspoon Garam Masala spice or chilli powder, or one of each if you like it spicy, and with - salt and black pepper to taste - 3 tblspoons corn oil Directions- Mix all ingredients, except oil
- In a frying pan, heat oil, on medium. - Using a tablespoon, pick up mix and place in frying pan (like very small pancakes) - fry “cakes”, both sides, until golden brown, on medium. - when done, take out of frying pan and place on thick paper napkin to get rid of excess oil. |
