Ingredients- 1 cup fava beans (dry)
- 3.5 cups water - ½ teaspoon (level) salt - ¼ teaspoon (level) black pepper - 1 twig fresh rosemary or oregano or basil or parsley Directions- Boil for about 40 minutes, or until fava beans soft and almost all of water has evaporated.
- remove herb twig - Put mix in blender and blend until creamy - Serve, warm or cold, with chopped onions and a few drops olive oil over it. Serve with pumpernickel bread |
