Ingredients- 1 package yellow cake mix (I prefer "Super Moist" yellow cake mix from Betty Crocker)
- 1.25 cups water - 1/3 cup vegetable oil - 3 eggs - 3/4 cup coconut flakes - 3 tbsp poppy seeds - margarine or butter DirectionsFollow package instructions:
1. Pre-heat over to 350 F. Grease a baking pan with margarine or butter. 2. Beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Flavoring: 3. Add coconut and poppy seeds. 4. Mix thoroughly again. Bake: As directed (about 45 minutes, until a inserted toothpick comes out clean/dry). Final preparation: Optionally, sprinkle on powdered sugar. |
