Zucchini wheels, friedZucchini wheels fried in spiced batter20 minutes / 4 servingsa good summer side dish

Ingredients2 large zucchinis, sliced thinly into wheels
batter - ½ cup flour - ½ cup cornmeal - ¾ cup beer - 1 teaspoon (level) cumin - ½ teaspoon salt - ½ teaspoon black pepper - 1 tblspoon dill, minced - frying oil (about ¾ cup) Directions- mix all batter ingredients well
- fold in zucchini wheels - heat up oil in frying pan - place wheels, one at a time, in frying oil (one layer only at a time) - fry until golden brown, turn over using a fork and repeat - remove from pan and place on thick paper napkin to remove excess oil |
