Baked Bananas / "Banana Eclair"extremely easy and healthy dessert5 minutes prep, 10-15 minutes to bake, 4-8 bananasEven if you've never cooked anything in your life, you can make a very pleasant dessert using this recipe; as opposed to ready-mix cakes and other such concoctions, this is also quite healthy (especially if you're not adding the chocolate sauce), and lends an air of sophistication for very little cost in time or effort.
If you want to really mix it up, you can scoop some ice cream over the bananas. [0 / 0 found this useful , viewed 433 times]

Ingredients4-8 bananas
optional chocolate sauce (see link) DirectionsThis couldn't be easier.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Stick the bananas (unpeeled) on a sheet of aluminum foil, and bake for 10 minutes. If their peels are 80-90% browned, they're ready (if not, bake for another few minutes). If you want to add the chocolate sauce for the "banana eclair", cut the bananas lengthwise and spoon the sauce in to fill them (see photo). |
