Ingredients- 1 lb ripe tomatoes, shredded
- 1 large onion, chopped - 1 garlic clove, thinly chopped - 2 tblspoons basil, minced - 1 tblspoon parsley, minced - 7 tblspoons olive oil - salt and pepper to taste Directions- in a small saucepan, over high heat, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil, until golden brown (4-6 minutes), stirring
- add tomatoes and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring - add basil and parsley -simmer, over low heat, until sauce thickens (15-20 minutes) serve with cooked spaghetti, cooked rice, fried potatoes etc. |
