Ingredients- 2 lit milk
- 8-10 oz yoghurt (buy the type that has a live culture in it) Directions- warm up milk to about 95-100 F degrees
- remove from hot surface and dilute in it the yoghurt - place mixture in a plastic container that has a tight fitting lid. - Cover plastic container and let stay at room temperature for about 7 hours - Refrigerate either in the one large container or in smaller individual-portions containers. -------------- note: if you do not use a kitchen thermometer, the way to figure out whether the temperature is right is the following: after you have warmed up milk, dip in it your little finger; if you can leave it there, without any significant discomfort, until you have counted to 10, it is O.K. |
