BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE

15 MINUTES/SERVES 4

Suitable for Waffles, crepes, bananas, cakes.
Can be made up to 3 days ahead.
Suitable to freeze.

Ingredients

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup (250ml) cream
150gms butter chopped

Directions

Combine all ingredients in pan. Stir over heat until sugar has dissolved and butter has melted. Simmer uncovered for 3 minutes.

Makes 2 cups.
