Ingredients1 small to medium size cauliflower
1 cup of cheese bechamel sauce 1 tsp of nutmeg 1 tsp of butter Salt and peper DirectionsPreheat oven to 375oF
Clean the cauliflower and clear the leaves and the stems. Prepare the batch of béchamel. During this time, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil with 2 tsp of salt. Boil the cauliflower for 2 minutes and drain the water out. Butter the bottom and edges of an 8’x10’ (or equivalent) baking dish. Place the cauliflower evenly on the bottom of the baking dish. Cover the whole with the béchamel sauce. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place in the oven for 15 minutes then set the oven to broil for 5 minutes. Serve warm as a side. Enjoy |
