Sesame Chicken Sticks & ginger sauce

Finger food, chicken with sesame seeds and cumin

20-25 minutes / 2 servings

easy to make and tasty
good buffet food

Ingredients

- 2 chicken breast fillets, cut into long thin strips
- oil for shallow frying

Batter
- 2 tblspoons flour
- 1 tblspoon mashed potatoes powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 2 tblspoons sesame seeds
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
- ½ cup water

Sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated
- 1 tblspoon onion, finely chopped
- 1 tblspoon vinegar
- 1 tblspoon soy sauce
- 1 tblspoon ketchup
- 1 tblspoon vegetable oil

mix all sauce ingredients (better if you use a food processor); sauce is ready

mix all batter ingredients well
fold chicken strips in batter and then fry over low until done

serve warm with sauce on the side as a dip
