Ingredients- 2 tblspoons butter
- 10-15 garlic cloves, peeled - 2 onions, chopped - 3 potatoes, cubed - 2 cups milk - 2 cups chicken stock or water - salt to taste Directions- place butter in cooking pot
- sauté garlic and onions for 5-7 minutes, stirring - add potatoes and salt, and continue sautéing for another 5-7 minutes, stirring - add milk and chicken stock (or water), and simmer, over medium, for about 15 minutes - using food processor, puree mixture until creamy and smooth if too thick, add hot water and mix well; if too thin, dilute 1 teaspoon cornflour in cold water, pour over mixture and stir for a minute or two over medium heat. before serving, sprinkle on top small chunks of garlic bread or croutons |
