Ingredients - 1 lb chicken meat, cut in thin strips (chinese style)
- 3 cups broccoli florets - 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced - 5-7 tblspoons olive oil - salt and black pepper to taste optional: ¼ + ¼ cup chicken stock / 1 tblspoon cornflour - ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper to sprinkle over Directions- in frying pan, heat up oil and sauté garlic for about 5 minutes, stirring
- remove garlic from pan, place in dish and, using a fork, mash them - place chicken in frying pan and cook stirring and tossing for about 6-8 minutes - add broccoli, mashed garlic, salt and black pepper, and continue stirring and tossing for another 6-8 minutes - remove from pan, and, before serving, sprinkle over cayenne pepper OR, if you desire a thicker creamier sauce, add ¼ cup chicken stock along with broccoli, cover pot, cook for 10-12 minutes, mix cornflour with ¼ cup chicken stock, pour over mixture, stir for a couple of minutes.
