Shrimp cakesShrimp Patties with herbs and spices20-30 minutes / 4-8 servingsan easy to make and tasty starter

IngredientsGroup 1
- 2 handfuls small shrimp, shelled - 1 clove garlic, crushed - 1 tblspoon soy sauce - ½ cup coriander, chopped - salt and black pepper to taste group 2 - 1 egg yolk beaten - bread crumbs or polenta (cornmeal) for coating group 3 - frying oil Directions- mix all group 1 ingredients well (if mixture is not thick enough to form patties, add 1-2 tblspoons flour or bread crumbs)
- using a tblspoon and your palms, form patties - dip each patty first in egg yolk and then coat them with bread crumbs or polenta - fry them, (dip or shallow), over medium heat, until golden brown serve them with the sauce of your choice on the side |
