Ingredients- 1 lb chicken fillets, cut in thin strips (chinese style)
- 4 tblspoons olive oil - 1 large onion, chopped - 2 garlic cloves, chopped - 3 tblspoons turmeric - 1 teaspoon red chili powder - 2 teaspoons cumin - 3 tblspoons coriander, minced - 1 tblspoon fresh ginger root, minced - 1 can chopped & peeled tomatoes - salt to taste Directions- in a large frying pan, sauté onions and garlic for 4-5 min, stirring
- add chicken strips and sauté for another 4-5 min, stirring - add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 15 minutes or until liquids are absorbed serve with rice |
