Ingredients- 1 lb lamb, sliced or cubed
- 1 lb frozen green english peas - 1 lb frozen vegetables (variety) - 1 large onion, chopped - 1 tblspoon dill or fennel - 5-7 tblspoons olive oil - salt and black pepper to taste - warm water (1-2 cups) Directions- sauté onion in olive oil, stirring, for about 3-4 minutes
- add lamb and continue sauteing for another 4-5 minutes, stirring - add frozen vegetables and dill or fennel, and continue sautéing for another 4-5 minutes, stirring - add salt & pepper, and warm water enough to cover ingredients - bring to a boil, cover pot, lower heat to medium, and simmer for about 50 minutes, or until meat is tender and water has evaporated; you may need to add water if meat not done before water has evaporated. note: if lamb meat carries a heavy smell for you, you may boil it for a few minutes, throw out the water and then proceed with above directions |
