Ingredients- 3 tblspoons oil or butter
- garlic cloves of 2 garlic heads, chopped - 1 large onion, chopped - 2-3 potatoes (pre-boiled o baked), peeled and cubed - 2 cups warm water or chicken or vegetable stock - 2 cups milk - 2 tblspoons cornflour, dissolved in 3 tblspoons water croutons to garnish Directions- sauté, in oil or butter, garlic and onion, for 5-6 minutes, stirring
- add potatoes and continue stirring for another 4-5 minutes - add liquids and simmer for 5-7 minutes - remove form heat, puree, using a food processor and return to cooking pot. - add cornflour, stirring constantly until soup thickens. Serve warm |
