Broccoli soupDead simple, tasty20 minutesThis is based off a Gordon Ramsey recipe. It's ridiculously simple, and the color is insane. The texture of the soup is creamy thick, and very smooth.

IngredientsBroccoli (one head makes 3-4 servings)
Salt (optional) Pepper (optional) Cheese (optional) Olive oil (optional) Curry powder (optional) DirectionsGet a pot of water boiling, and add some salt to the water.
Cut the broccoli florets off the stalk, rinse them, and drop them into the boiling water. Cover the pot, and let them boil for 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is still crunchy, but easy to cut through. Filter the broccoli out and reserve the water. Put the broccoli into a blender, and add enough water so that you can blend the broccoli smooth. If you want to spice it up with curry powder, add it in the blender. Blend until thoroughly smooth, and serve. Drizzle olive oil or melt some cheese on top. The fat in the oil/cheese gives an extra flavor that really makes it delicious. |
