IngredientsGroup 1
- 1 tblspoon oil - 4 tblspoons soy sauce - 2 tblspoons sherry - 1 tblspoon brown sugar - 1 tblspoon ginger root, diced - 1 garlic clove, diced - black pepper to taste (no salt because of soy sauce) group 2 - 1 lb rump steak Directions- place all group 1 ingredients in food processor and blend until homogeneous
- empty sauce in large enough platter to contain steak(s) in one layer - marinade steak for at least 4 hours, turning over once or twice, if not covered by sauce (keep in refrigerator) - take out of refrigerator when ready to grill - grill for 4-5 min on each side (until it is done to your taste); paste with left over sauce. - remove from grill, cut into very thin strips and serve with vegetables (preferably oriental) or rice. |
