- 4 large ripe, firm bananas, and halved lengthwise Group 2 - 2 tblspoons butter, melted - juice of 1 lime - juice and rind of 1 small lime - 1/3 cup brown sugar - 1 teaspoon ground allspice - ¼ teaspoon ground ginger - ¼ ground coriander Group 3 - 3 tblspoons rum Directions- place banana halves in greased baking pan, one layer
- brush with butter - spread over all group 2 ingredients after you have mixed them - bake in preheated oven, 400 F, for about 15 min, or until bananas soft - remove from oven, spread over rum and set aflame, using a match - serve when flames die down optional: you may serve with vanilla ice cream |
