Spinach au gratin

Spinach casserole with cheeses and polenta

Ingredients

Group 1
- 4 tblspoons oil or butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 lb frozen spinach leaves (chopped)
- salt, black pepper to taste
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Group 2
- 1 heaped tblspoon grated parmesan cheese
- ½ cup cheddar cheese, grated
- ½ cup polenta (cornmeal)
- 100 ml thick cooking cream

Directions


- Sauté all group 1 ingredients, high heat, stirring, until spinach has unthawed
- Empty mix into baking pan
- Mix all group 2 ingredients and pour over spinach
- Bake, in preheated oven, (375 F) for about 30 min or until
top golden brown.
