Ingredients- 4-5 Portobello mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 4-5 tbspoons margarine - 3-4 garlic gloves, peeled and sliced - 1-2 bay leaves - ½ teaspoon dried basil - 1 teaspoon dried sage - 2-3 small peeled whole tomatoes (out of can) - several chunks tofu - salt and cayenne pepper to taste Directions- place mushrooms in frying pan and simmer until all liquids have evaporated
- add margarine, garlic, herbs and tomatoes, and sauté, softly stirring and tossing (4-5 min) - be careful with the tomatoes so that they do not break up - add tofu chunks salt and pepper and continue sautéing stirring and tossing for another 3-4 min |
