Ingredients- 1 lb frozen green peas
- 5 tblspoons extra virgin olive oil - 1 tblspoon chopped fennel or dill - 1 medium onion chopped - salt and black pepper to taste - one measuring cup warm water Directions- saute oil and onion, on high, for 4 minutes, stirring
- add frozen green peas - saute for another 3-4 minutes (do not forget to stir) - add fennel or dill, salt and pepper (mix well) - add water and cover with lid. - bring to a boil and then turn heat to medium-low - slow cook for 45-50 minutes - turn stove off, take lid off and allow extra juices to evaporate |
