Ingredients- 1 lb frozen okra
- 1 onion, chopped - 5 tblspoons olive oil - salt andblack pepper to taste - 2 tblspoons vinegar - 1 tblspoon, level, topato paste - 1 cup warm water Directions- saute oil and onion, on high, 3-4 minutes
- add frozen okra and saute for another 3-4 mintes (stirring) - add salt, pepper and vinegar / stir - dilute tomato paste in water and pour over okra - place lid on and bring to a boil - turn temperature down to medium-low - let it cook for about 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally - then, turn stove off, take lid off, and allow to stay for a few minutes |
