Ingredients- 1 lb shelled & cleaned shrimp
- 1 lb spaghetti - salt and black pepper to taste - 4 garlic cloves, sliced - 7 tblspoons olive oil - grated parmesan cheese (optional) Directions- place olive oil and garlic in a frying pan
- saute over low heat until garlic starts changing color - take garlic out, place on a small dish and mash using a fork - turn heat up - when oil is very hot, place shrimp in, add mashed garlic, salt and pepper, and stir vigorously for 3-4 minutes - pour shrimp and olive oil sauce over cooked spaghetti (al dente) and mix gently. - sprinkle over parmesan cheese note: fresh shrimp is always better note: if you like a thicker sauce, add to shrimp, when ready, 150 ml cooking cream and stir for 2 minutes. |
