Ingredients- 1 lb broccoli flowers, cut in small pieces
- 1 lb spaghetti - salt and black pepper to taste - 4 garlic cloves / sliced - 7 tblspoons olive oil otional: for a thicker sause, 1/2 cup chicken broth and 1 tblspoon corn flour, or 150 ml cooking cream Directions- saute oil and garlic, over medium heat, until garlic starts changing color
- take garlic out, place on a small dish, and mash, using a fork - turn heat up - when oil is very hot, place broccoli in, add mashed garlic, salt and pepper, and stir & toss, for 3-4 minutes optional: finish broccoli by pouring over it chicken broth mixed with corn flour (or cooking cream), stir and cook for 2 minutes. - pour broccoli and olive oil sauce over cooked spaghetti (al dente) and mix gently. note: this recipe can be combined with the "pasta and shrimp" recipe into one by mixing shrimp with brocoli before cooking. |
