mayonnaise sauce

homemade mayonnaise

5-7 minutes / 1/2 cup mayo

it is simple, so you can have fresh, good quality mayo in just a few minutes

you can come up with your own varieties (such as green mayo by adding 2-3 tblspoons parsley, garlic mayo etc)

Ingredients

- 2 egg yolks
- salt and pepper to taste
-2 teaspoons lemon juice or white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 1/4 cup olive oil


all ingredientsmust be at room temperature

Directions

- use a small bowl

- beat egg yolks, salt and pepper (medium speed) for 1 minute
- add one half lemon juice (or vinegar) and mustard, and beat for 1 minute
- while beating, start adding oil, slowly and at a constant flow, and fisnish by adding, slowly, remaining lemon juice or vinegar.
