IngredientsBlack Olives Pie
- 1 layer pizza crust (see link if you wish ot make your own dough). - 1 cup pitted black olives, minced - 1/2 lb feta cheese, diced - 3 onions, chopped - 2 red peppers, chopped - 2 tblspoons minced mint - 2 tblspoons olive oil - 1 tblspoon minced dill or fennel Directions- in frying pan, at high temperature, sauté olive oil and onion for 3-4 minutes
- add olives, mint and red pepper and continue sautéing 4-5 minutes - add feta cheese and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring - place pizza crust on baking pan and pre-bake for 5 minutes, if it is not very thin. - spread over the olives mix - bake, at 375, for 30 minutes, or until dough edges turn golden brown. - sprinkle over minced dill or fennel |
