In 'n' Out

If you're not from California, you may not be familiar with the institution that is In 'n' Out.

Essentially, you go there to order a burger, with or without cheese, with or without onions (also try animal style), with as many patties as you desire. It's extremely greasy, but extremely delicious and purportedly fresh. You can taste the grilled beef and it's wonderful.

If you're planning on take-out, any location will do. The Alhambra location has a decent and bright dining room with many plastic booths.

Note: if you order in the drive-through, indicate that you will be eating "in the car" when asked (even if you are not). This is their way of asking if you prefer the food in a bag or in a box. "In the car" means you'll be getting it in a box, which is much neater as burgers and fries aren't scrambled together haphazardly.
