B.B. Kabob / "Tip Top" (Closed)

This family-owned restaurant is a great find. The chef is clearly talented and the food tastes amazing. I especially recommend the stuffed grape leaves (Dolmeh), prepared warm and stuffed with all sorts of goodies (not just rice), and the koobideh kabob, seasoned and very flavorful.

The portions are huge -- perhaps the biggest I've ever seen at a middle eastern establishment. The prices are also amazingly low. The waitstaff seems to be related to the owners -- so they are very enthusiastic about making sure you get everything you need.

They also claim to deliver "with no specific delivery radius -- as long as the food gets to you tasting good", and of course offer take-out.

It's an interesting setting -- half in-door, half out-door. There are flat screen TVs in several places. It's well lit and there are some pictures waiting to be hung, as they're still building out the interior, since they have just opened for business.

It's fairly nice and clean, but probably more of a hang-out / friends destination than a romantic one. For example, when I was there, I saw a few guys outside with laptops. (They said they're planning on offering WiFi soon).
