Vertical Wine Bistro

I haven't tried the food here, but they have a large selection of wines by the glass, and many are organized into thematic "flights" (a sample of several wines, for non-wine-snobs).

The wines I tried were good, but the overall experience seemed a little overpriced (as opposed to just getting a glass of wine at Mi Piace, or any of the other trendy evening spots in old town).

This place suffers from classic flaw of many trendy restaurants: it's built like a giant resonator, with hard reflective surfaces and with a few strange little resonation pockets cut into the wall that seem to serve no purpose but to make the place louder. Then again, I'm awfully sensitive about loudness, so maybe I'm biased :P

Otherwise, it's a chic-looking place that attracts an affluent, trendy crowd and is generally professionally run and well executed.
