Connected to the Cantor building at NYU, some may pass by Cafetasia thinking it's a part of the university (it's not). HOWEVER! Retrace your steps and allow yourself to stare at the long tables facing the windows that look out at 8th Street. Not to make the diners uncomfortable, but to check out what they're eating!

Food / Service

The cuisine is Thai and the menu is pretty standard - spring rolls, pad thai, green curry, thai ice tea/coffee, etc. The price is also standard for a college neighborhood, most entrees are under $10. There is a wide assortment of cocktails as well.

Environment / Ambience

But my favorite part of this restaurant is the amazing ambiance. Sleek tables, benches, a well stocked bar, candles, the lighting - all very conducive to a swimmingly successful eating and socializing fest. And? Their restroom is the best one I've ever been in at a restaurant. You'll have to go to find out what I'm talking out.
