Barney's Ltd

Barney's is part casual-dining restaurant, part sports bar, and part regular old bar. They have a wide variety of beers, and even have a "beer bragger" card that lets you mark off each of their 85 regular beers as you try them.

They also server quite good bar food and sandwiches, with a surprising number of healthy options that you might not expect (including a very tasty vegetable wrap). The appetizers are probably their strong point, including good onion rings, popcorn chicken, buffalo wings, and fried mushrooms / zucchini.

This is one of the only places in old town pasadena wher you can get together for a quiet drink in a saturday night. It's casual, quiet enough for a conversation, and overall pleasant and well-kept.
