If you've driven past Alhambra, you've probably noticed the restaurant with the neon guy wearing a clothespin on his nose. This is Twohey's, and apparently he's wearing the clothespin because he's eating a "little stink-o" burger.

Food / Service

It's a burger-oriented diner, with a good selection of quarter-pound and half-pound options. They also serve a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, melts, floats, and other diner fare.

Their "signature" burger is the "stink-o", which is not nearly as provocative as its name might suggest; it's just a pickle and onion burger.

If you're into strawberry lemonade, try it out, but be warned that it's quite thick and has some strawberry pulp in it. Nonetheless, it was quite refreshing on a hot afternoon.

Environment / Ambience

Kind of an odd 1950's inspired diner feel; there's actually a "soda fountain" built into the wall, with an awning protruding out into the main lobby. There's a counter/bar, and then a bunch of diner-y booths.

Anyway, it's hardly a place to go for ambience, but it's pleasant enough and was well kept.
