Yard House

The food includes bar appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and various fresh meat / fish dishes. The sandwiches are particularly good; try the crab cake hoagie or the steak standwich, you won't regret it :)

The beer selection is large but on the mainstream side (so if you're a super beer snob, you might not be too impressed).

They have a great happy hour, lasting 3 hours every weekday from 3-6pm; who could say no to half-price drinks and appetizers?

One thing to note about the service: they play some weird buzz-generating games with the seating on busy days, and will refuse to seat you even though there are obvious open tables. They claim it's because they're understaffed, but I don't believe them.

There's a surprisingly large bar room, with booths and tables; it extends a long way, so when it's full it's a full-on party in there. As a consequence, it can get pretty loud inside, especially with a major sports event going on.

I always try to sit on the patio; it's cozy, and has a decent view for people-watching. It can be hard to find a table there on busy summer days, but it's worth it.
