Food / Serviceeverything you eat at Steak 'n' Stein is made from products grown, produced, or raised inside the Steak 'n' Stein family -- freshly churned butter, gigantic potatoes, and of course, the great steaks.
it's incredibly rich, and incredibly delicious. you can taste the freshness in everything they make. be prepared, however, for a 4000 calorie meal (I'm approximating -- but it's probably not far off). This is part of the same set of "Clearman's" restaurants as the "North Woods Inn" in San Gabriel on Rosemead.. but I've never been to that one. Environment / Ambienceextremely long waits, large wooden tables, creepy paintings in a dark atmosphere. you go to Steak n' Stein for the food.
